The Box Seat

The Box Seat is located at 5006 High Point Road in the Sedgefield Square shopping center. They have been serving the area for over 20 years.

I stopped in for an early dinner with a friend during my birthday vacation. They have recently updated their menu so I was excited to see what changes they had made.

We took a seat in a booth and looked at the menu options provided. I decided to get a side salad and pepperoni flatbread.

The flatbread was ok. Not as much flavor as I was hoping for and the crust was a little thick for a flatbread. The hot honey sauce was a little helpful for the flavor; hot honey on pizza has been trending lately.

My friend got a burger with chips, wings Ron’s way (lemon pepper and garlic parmesan mixed) and onion rings.

The burger was big and juicy with fresh toppings that my friend thoroughly enjoyed. The chips were crispy and the onion rings were too; she shared with me. The wings were also on point.

Overall I definitely recommend the wings and burgers here for sure.
