In partnership with
Rascals Tavern is located at 2270 Golden Gate Dr in the same shopping center as Food Lion. I had been wanting to stop in and check them out for a while and I finally was able to get to them for an early dinner. The menu here is innovative - yet features lots of classics we all love.

After reviewing the menu I decided to try a few things out. Pretzels with mustard and beer cheese, wedge salad and burger with fries.
Pretzels, beer cheese and mustard
The pretzels were crispy on the outside and lightly salted. The cheese was gooey and mustard was tangy.
Wedge salad
The wedge salad was absolutely gorgeous and delicious. The balsamic and blue cheese combo is undefeated. The bacon was extra crispy as well as smoky. Wedge salads are my favorite type of salad and this was the best one ever. So delicious.
Burger and fries
The burger was definitely hand pattied and made fresh. Fries were natural cut, seasoned and delicious.
Now this is a lot of food (about 3 meals for me) and my total came up to $42.70 which is an awesome deal.
I highly recommend this place and I will come back for brunch soon. YUMMY YUMMY.
