Pantry Fried Chicken is located at 1040 West Gate City Blvd (used to be Timmy’s Hot Chicken then before that Beef/Biff Burger). Pantry Fried Chicken just opened on August 28, 2024 and I made sure I went by on opening day.

I went inside and was in awe at the fryers going full blast, the smell of chicken getting crispy filled the air. The menu was very straightforward with fair pricing. The staff was very friendly and focused; they were happy to be there!

When I got home I was ready to chow down and enjoy myself.

The potato wedges are perfectly seasoned and so HUGE! The chicken wings were crispy, seasoned and so fresh. Their ranch has just the right texture, not too thick, not too thin. The hot sauce is pretty reminiscent of Texas Pete, which is my favorite! (Texas Pete was founded in Winston-Salem). I will definitely becoming back for more, everything here is great!
