La Casita is located at 4411 W Gate City Blvd, in the Sedgefield Commons strip where there is a Dominos and Subway.

I came by for a late Taco Tuesday lunch and ordered 4 al pastor tacos, a steak gordita and Horchata to drink. I placed my order at the counter with a lady who was very friendly. I took a seat at a booth and waited for my food. It came out pretty quickly and was steaming hot.

There were 4 tacos in my order and they came topped with fresh cilantro and diced onions. I decided to include some red and green salsa on the side for added kick. The meat was juicy and seasoned with a nice marinade. Lots of flavor from the salsas as well, the red was hotter than the green and the green had an earthy taste to it.

This was my first time having an authentic gordita so I was excited. The shell was crispy and thick on the edges; wonderful texture. The steak inside was tender and they gave a generous amount. I could probably eat two of those and be good and full.

The Horchata had love hints of cinnamon throughout and was creamy enough to cut thru the spice of the salsas.

All together I spent $23 for 4 tacos, 1 gordita and a large horchata. For authentic food I am ok with this price. I highly recommend and I will be back YUM!
